While reading this thread I saw a few people talk about pissing on the playa, collecting urine, etc. and thought I would share my experience from last year. My wife and I, having reached our majority some years back, have trouble making it through the night without at least one trip to the bathroom....

My wife and I are old and kind of homely but feel free to drop by our camp, we can be fun.

or those whom the group didn't think were cool enough to enter. I know this thread is about kids but the quoted sentence really bothers me. I've been to 4 burns with the first being 1998. My wife has been to the last two with me, we were married in 2001. We will never be accused of being "cool" and...

According to the latest JRS they had over 600 requests for art car registration. I am one of those that doesn't want to see 600...or 300...or even 100 motorized vehicles stirring up dust on the playa. Maybe the simple reason that your application was rejected was that they set a figure that they saw...

"Esplanade(of course) and 8:30"

I thought the sound camps were supposed to be at 2:00 and 10:00 facing the open playa? Maybe you don't plan on playing loud music but with three generators pumping out 13,000 watts and a stage it sounds pretty noisy to me.

That's one of the things I feel has changed for the worse at BM. When I first attended BM, bands didn't need stages. My first night there I was wandering around on foot trying to find the people I was going to camp with and came upon group after group set up in front of their tents playing for whoev...

I haven't posted, or read the e-playa much, since last fall. Sheri and I plan to be at the meet and greet again this year. I'm sure it will be as much fun as last year if not more.

The romp was a ton of fun. I forgot to include Yonder Man in our romp group. How could I forget a nice guy like that?

Thursday Meet and Greet

I'm so glad that Sheri and I attended the Thursday Meet and Greet at Barbie Death Camp and Wine Bistro. Everyone I met there was really nice and we had a great time both there and later on Friendly Jen's romp. I'm sure a few of you were "beveraged up" enough that you probably won't recognize me next...
