Been using it for years. Got it playing paintball of all things, because for some reason people freak out when a 6'6", 300lb dude sneaks up on them in the woods.

It is -so- worth the effort to do this kind of thing. I've got a pair of boots like this, worn them 12 years now, just had to have them re-soled last fall because the welt stitching finally started to give out beyond my ability to fix myself. Still wearing 'em. :) As far as jeans go, I think you're ...

I know this thread has drifted quite a bit and the original topic probably has been discussed to death, but can anyone guess where I noticed this sign today? http://lh6.ggpht.com/_o1wMAuSlgYI/TLygW15aKLI/AAAAAAAABi8/qutUIshCTZM/s800/C360_2010-10-18%2011-03-54.jpg It was posted all over the grounds ...

Edit : Damn, but that's a beautiful sight, Jellyfish.

Looking good, Black Cat! Loving the dent pattern on that cooling tank cover, definitely looks like it's been down the road and back a few thousand times!

Picking up a $25 beach cruiser today, now I've got something to stretch my legs on before the Burn!

Next up : Designing a shade structure that'll support a hammock with me in it, but still be light enough not to ruin my gas mileage all the way to the playa.

Reminds me of back in the day. My best buddy used to drive a '66 microbus with the barn doors, painted bright orange. We got to the point he had a spare engine in the garage, and we could swap the thing in under an hour. 400k+ miles on the frame and no issues, though!

4 new tires and a complete front end repair done on my car, thanks to the magic of potholes.

I'd now trust it to pull the 1500 mile run out to BM. On the other hand, there went all my savings!

Well, considering your Contraption thread showing up in the DIY section of another forum I frequent is what led me to the eplaya, I'd have a hard time not being glad to see that the DMV approves!

Yeah, but you'd have to either clean all that corn at home, which really kills it in high heat without the husks and silk to keep the moisture in, or deal with all that lovely MOOP that'll float forever on a good wind. On the other hand, if you cut it off the cob at home, toss it into a ziplock with...
