Re: Google+

One thing I'm finding is that when people from eplaya are adding me, it's hard, if not impossible to tell who they are (especially if your eplaya handle and your real name aren't even closely related)! Maybe after adding someone from here, sending a note on Google+ identifying your eplaya handle wo...

I've got it set up. Mostly just a new Facebook with some more doodads and eliminating some unnecessary stuff. I do like that it seems to be a bit more simplistic. Wanna circle up, JK?

From those who have participated, any suggestions for seat covering to prevent uncomfortable sticking and rubbing while riding? I'm really looking forward to joining!

Finishing up Ender in Exile by Orson Scott Card. It's the most recent of the Ender's Game saga, all of which I've read numerous times (except the shadow books, never could get into those). And I'm heading over to the book store today to pick up copy of Game of Thrones to see what all the hubub is ab...

This was given to me by a friend. I think it should be more than playa worthy! http://www.alexbottle.com/product.php?id=A10008 In its basic form it is like a kleen canteen http://www.alexbottle.com/images/products/full/A10008/full.jpg When disassembled it can act as a plain ole cup (or two) http://w...

No, person that lives below me... That vanilla scented candle on your patio DOES NOT mask the smell of your cigarettes or prevent the smoke from wafting into my apartment windows

TPBM needs to do some work on their playa bike.

A few pointers for it being your first year. 1. Start repeating this mantra now: It is impossible to see everything at Burning Man. I will slow down and enjoy what I can see. 2. You will here the phrase "No expectations" repeated a lot. It is impossible to not have expectations. I will loan you my ...

Well done! Did you cover your important bits and wear a helmet when you went to fire it up? I rewired a friend's camp trailer and installed a new distribution / converter panel the other day. Re: Don't fuck up your burn with expectations

Ok serious time... I started keeping a journal of my preparations for burning man and why I decided go (for the first time) because I know everything will be different once I get there, I'll finally see/experience it and I'll never get that virgin burner naivitee back again, so I figured I'd docume...

You're absolutely right and I'll give you that one freely.. Haha thanks! I spent the last couple of days browsing and "searching" and all I could find, in addition to many playafied recipes, was "bring your own cup". Needless to say that leaves quite a bit to the imagination (as IM displayed...

A cup is to BM as a towel is to intergalactic travel

Bringing your own cup to BM is a must, so I was wondering what everyone's preferences are and what you've found to work best. Lid or no lid? How big? Handle? Clip?

Last year I brought one of these fellers

I'm looking to "upgrade" as it were.

Re: Car Camping, and why my friends suck

I love my friends. I do not love camping with 99% of them. Amen to that! I have also had a fair number of friends telling me they wanted to go for their first burn this year. I told them I'd be happy to tell them how to look me up when they get there (gives me the option of "forgetting" to register...
