They should enforce the camouflaging of the logos, at a minimum.IMHO I don't know about enforce, but they should do a better job at suggesting it. I know it's on the website, but I think a lot of people probably miss it. Also, on this topic, I've found that Frog Tape works the best. A lot of other ...

while the rest of us have to do what we can to survive. Survive? Survive????? As in 'radical...survival?' Get over here and clean my screen off right now. It's a goddamn camping trip you silly ass monkey. It ain't like you're packing for a solo ascent up the fucking west wall of K-2 or a canoe trip...

Not necessarily. I've rented them from 2 different locations & never had an issue with getting the deposit back. Just do a reasonable job of cleaning it & you should be ok.

I really don't see it as a "haves vs. have-nots" thing, or that people who rent a crappy RV for the week are somehow rolling in dough.

I meant that more as a joke, but I guess I do have a small fear that it will become(or is already becoming) more like the Miami Winter Music Conference. With "famous" DJs being the main focus, many of them just flying in for a night or 2, etc. I did love the Tower of Babel, and I truly hope the rumo...

is the U.S. too big for democracy?

an excerpt from a NYT op-ed piece by Gar Alperovitz. from 2007, but still extremely relevant - No nation — not even the United States — can be managed successfully from the center once it reaches a certain scale. . . . The United States is almost certainly too big to be a meaningful democracy. ...

I guess I should have worded that better. Other than Burning Man, there has never been a time when I wanted to use an RV. I live for tent camping. I love backcountry camping, festival camping, campground camping, etc. My gf & I do huge road trips all the time & basically live out of a Prius & a smal...

what's your current opinion on RVs?

I've heard/read various opinions on this topic, but I'm curious what people currently think about it. My personal view on them... I don't think they should be in the 1st few streets (maybe A-D). This not only keeps them further from the Esplanade, but also keeps them on the bigger blocks, where they...

I still find it so ironic that for as much worship goes on about Bassnectar.. I thought he played the most god awful, irritating music that I'd ever heard in my life. I'd rather listen to a dentists drill than that drivel. Just saying. I still like seeing his shows, although last year I got a littl...

To each their own. Being "better at it" means what? I like four-star hotels, and I like backpacking. RVs at BMan don't impress me as much of an advantage and I would encourage any new person not to cop out with the overpriced mechanical luxuries but to live the experience. But again, to each their ...

The refrigerators in them are pretty much useless. Last year ours didn't get cold until halfway through, this time it didn't work at all. They took some $ off for that though, which was cool. I only shower 1-2 times for the week there, b/c that's all I really need. The playa dust keeps me clean & dr...
The solar panel is meant to make it so little things like internal lights and the water pump can run.
Did Cruise America tell you this? Because, as far as I know, it isn't the case. They told me it does pretty much nothing. It's a very small trickle charge, but not enou...
