Re: Curious about two apps with duplicate credit card number

No it will not. You can have multiple family members (or housemates) registering from the same address, but the name and credit card numbers must be unique. Perhaps you could use that card to purchase a pre-paid card to use for the additional registration. That's a huge snag. All a scalper then has...

I think you'd have to be decidedly ignorant about the Occupy / 99% movement to say that we don't stand for anything and have no causes or demands.

Now, they're deflowered and I don't know what to call them. :) I'm a fan of the term Experienced Rookie for second and/or third year folks. At least thats what we called out selves. We now figure we're 'experienced burners', but still a long way from Veteran. My friend and I reflected on this the l...

He's just selling the info packet, I don't have a problem with it. Maybe he went with a partner and they have one they're keeping so they're selling the extra one. Maybe he went and TTITD just wasn't for him so there's no sentiment attached for him, it's just stuff with a dollar value. Either way he...

An article forwarded to my buddy on the drive back quoted 3 felony arrests and one death (a girl fell off a tall art car backwards, landing on her head, according to the article anyway, I don't have a cite. The injured guy decided to jump off the top of the base of the man and survived, despite his ...

nice mask. I just used goggles (a day pair and a night pair) and a bandana. We brought the whte dust masks you can get from hardware stores in a contractor pack of 50 but no one ever use more than 1. The bandana was about as effective and worlds more comfortable and convenient.

And for whatever it's worth, a very large majority of the DPW folks don't abide by such bullshit. As far as reporting it goes, I didn't see who threw the punch as I was directly behind the guy who got hit, and he didn't seem interested in reporting anything so there would be little for me to report...

Re: I want to make a mutant vehicle for BM

Some folks have really pretty sad excuses for an art car that seem more like a cheap excuse to drive around on the playa. a "vehicle with lots of lights strung on it" that so many of those art cars were. FYI a lot of the not well decorated vehicles out there are approved and used by mobility impair...

Having never gone before I thought things were great on this front. I found more cig butts on the ground on my walk from Exodus line to the D Lot JOTS (about 6) than I found the whole week preceeding. I tried to do some deep playa mooping, as asked for every attendee, and couldn't find anything. I d...

I thought the huge laser clock in the sky was a bust. I saw lasers, but never could tell what time it was. Did the clock ever work? Did you ever go up to the base? Yes, you could totally tell what time it was if you were either at the base or (more vaguely) near one of the hour markers on Esplanade...

I thought I had a great idea for an "art car"... A truck with a flat bed trailer. The truck is covered to look like a toilet and on the flatbed sits a bank of JOTS for people to use. The vehicle could cruise the playa and all the big sound camps on Esplanade providing a place to use the pot while th...

The night of the burn of the Man, I stopped to chat with a county officer walking around by himself. If there was the slightest question of their own safety in a crowd this size...
