Re: First timers from UK going from San Francisco

Hey, We're a couple coming from England to San Francisco about a week before BM, which we've got tickets for. Originally we had a group of us going and one could drive so we were going to hire a car out there but as always with these things people drop out due to money. So with two of us left we're...

I just love these ones! Good day, I am Dr. Sarah Lindsey, I am a US citizen, 48 years Old. I am one of those that took part in the Compensation in Nigeria many years ago and they refused to pay me, I had paid over $20,000 while in the US, trying to get my payment all to no avail. So I decided to tra...

Have been thinking about food.... Tried out some canned chicken today. Thought it might be good snack food, or sandwich filler. It was awful. It looked like the gourmet stuff I feed the cat - and smelt a bit the same. One mouthful later - which I spat out - I put the rest in the cat’s bowl. He too...

One we make for music festivals is cold coffee (we brew up expresso, add some milk, and freeze it) and add some vodka.

The cold coffee is delicious - the vodka is a special kick in the butt treat.

Of course this only works if you can keep the coffee cold...

(not mocking. I was really curious bout what a worse case scenario dust out meal might be) After hearing Johnny Cash sing, "cold beans for breakfast" I tried a can of cold baked beans to see if it was really nasty. It wasn't bad. I did this the other day.... I wasn’t going to admit it but now I h...

This is how I am going to approach the type of problem you are having. In a place where there is a seam, or where the zip is, just add some D rings (dressmaking shops have them really cheap). If you put a needle hole through the actual fabric put the needle and thread through some backing (velcro wo...

Vegemite and some biscuits (you call them crackers). Funny. We call British biscuits "cookies." A sweet biscuit is a cookie - a savoury one is a biscuit. A chip is a potato thingy that is fried (either fresh or in a packet) - a crisp is something foreign. But that’s all very dull really, but is m...

Hopefully someone fed it to the cow I have laid in a large stash of Vegemite to bring to BM - perhaps the cow would like to eat that as well. Red wine and Vegemite marinade might be quite good This sounds perfectly delish, esp. if the cow expires tenderly cradled in the passionate embrace of Ygmir....
