Last year I got the "your going to hang out with gay naked hippies on drugs?" I can't stand the sterotyping...getting sick of that narrow minded view so I don't really like to talk about it anymore unless the person is really worth it.

I believe it is a 3.5 mill to RCA jack that is needed. I guess the amp just needs to have the connectors for the speakers correct?

IPod + Amp System??

Does anyone know if you can create a sound system (without using a stereo or receiver) with just an IPod, amp, and speakers? I've seen some odd creations on the internet but nothing that would be for a good sound system running through an IPod and Amp.
Thoughts?

Hoolie is right. As a RV owner myself and a burner of 8 years, blocking the wind is very difficult and I typically plan on providing shade vs. trying to quess at the wind. Parking in a South position is best but I prefer picking a part of the day I plan to be enjoying relaxing and park accordingly t...

Keep in mind that most 15 or 16 inch trailer tires are not rated for high speeds. I switched mine out to the Goodyear high speed radials rated for 99 mph. I shouldn't say "switched" I should say replaced after having 2 blow-outs going to Burning Man. The tread blows off taking the fender with it and...

They are providing solar assistance at Black Rock and then I believe the town of Gerlach is going to be gifted a system for the schools.

I've cooled a large dome with the portable mastercool evaporative coolers. It actually worked well. Buy some cheap A/C filters to wrap the sides of it to help the playa dust challenge. It doesn't draw that many amps...extra water is a bit of a hassle but it beats spending that much on A/C. Lowes has...

Minneapolis is fantastic. I was born and raised there and although I live in Arizona now I will always miss the arts and culture of that city. The people, schools, city etc. are quality. I wish we had more of that in AZ...were getting there but not close yet.

the lightest weight option is to buy a master lock trailer pin lock. This can be kept in your pocket and you can run it through the front sprocket area to prohibit pedaling...they can still run away with it but if they want it that bad they are going to take it. Pretty inexpensive.

It also depends on when you are going to be arriving. They kept to their entry time of 12:00 Monday Morning last year. Before you could get in alittle earlier at times. Thats one huge tank! Safety Third is right. But don't look to obtain new fresh water too easily. We tried for 2 days to get filled last year and it didn't happen. Getting pumped out is pretty easy. The non-potable shouldn't go in your RV Putting together a evap area under your RV made out of PVC and...
