Oddly, the other half of the battle is always having adequate traction. That's right. Carry chains, cables, or have snowtires.

I'm not really a fan of the tribe layout. I think this board is much easier to read and keep track of threads on. Maybe it's just because I'm still inexperienced with tribe. I'm glad it wasn't killed. Viva la eplaya!

Larry Harvey will get the last laugh for sure !!! He sees 1000 people protesting his ideas (corporate involvment) but these protesters PAID to get into BM. Lets see here, lets say that all 1000 people paid $145.00 a ticket. That equals $145,000 towards the ORGS spending. We all know that everyone t...

If it's bait, it's pretty tasty. It would take a pretty creative mind to come up with this just to hoax it.

MKSnowboarder:
Everything you need to outfit your trip is in Rneo, but if you can, I'd give it more than just a few hours. It can be nerve wracking because the city is entirely full of burners all buying the same stuff you are. It's pretty fun, too, though, for the very same reason.

It only burns for a minute and it only takes one, maybe two shots to be all aboard the train to Shitfacedville.

This is my 'playa punch' recipe. I've had a million drinks called that, of course. Here's my spin. The amounts are totally variable. Mix until you get it right. There are generators EVERYWHERE. Usually, the etiquette is to come up with a quiet box if you can, but you have to run the exhaust out somehow and you don't want it to overheat, of course. I had a generator last year and ran it minimally so I wouldn't bother the camp next door and we seemed to work ...

What makes you think you're going to be able to 'adopt' the technology, Bob? You can buy the technology, sometime. I have a feeling you're not going to be able to simply apply for some and take it home, though. Nor are the companies going to be willing to simply part with the spec and let you go and...

Word. You should charge them $250 to come help and then advertise a new, more efficient lawnmower to them that runs on sunshine and farts. Sell them coffee and ice for the heat of the day. Then afterwards, burn some shit down in the yard and call it good.

I think it's safe to say that next year's theme isn't going to be primates or donkey-fucking. Why is it so improbable that it will be something that easily swings the door open for more corporate presence? I maintain my position that corporations don't undertake actions that don't make them money. I...

Seeing as we're developing a unit, I think we should decide on a camping spot. I was thinking of camping at 8:45 and Freshwater. That's my usual spot, though, and I'm open to suggestions, of course.
