I think this might have been stated before, but if there is a dust storm, you have to open the door so the tape doesn't really help you does it? I know i can't make my windows roll down from the outside. My bad. I didn't give enough info. My "vehicle" is an RV and yes, you do have to open the doors...

We use wide blue painters tape BEFORE we get to the playa. We do as much as we can from the inside then outside too. Works great for us especially if you need someplace to go to catch your breath during a dust storm.

Sounds fun! I just found out about this from Ibdave. I'll bring my green dragon. He's small and easy to maneuver.
