Re: Politics, Everyday, All day... morning, noon and night....II

My point isn't that we shouldn't expect the best. I am basically saying that this IS the best we can expect.

If they do not meet your expectations, you just may have misguided expectations.

Burners, if anyone, should get this notion about the trap of expectations.

Re: Politics, Everyday, All day... morning, noon and night....II

As is rationalizing choices as it is much easier than to actually work to fix what is broken. One one hand you admit it is bad, but on the other, you support it. How can that be viewed as anything but a shining example of what is wrong with our political system today ? I'm not actually rationalizin...

The mere fact we are presented with such poor choices is a testimony to how far we have fallen as a nation. that's just more self fulfilling hyperbole lacking any context for the makeup, content and output of US politics over the course of our entire history is it bad? sure is it worse? not so sure...

Even though I had to rescue a neighbors cat that my dogs cornered at 2:55 AM, I am actually feeling pretty well rested.

Sad old cat was still in the same spot this AM, but I saw him out before the dogs could re-pounce.

I found a strange peace acknowledging that there was no way to do everything that was in the WWW guide on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. And moreso when I realized there was even more going on that wasn't even in the WWW guide. Immediacy! Which brings me to this: http://sfist.com/2016/09/01/this_year_we_get_t...
