We left on Sunday afternoon. While waiting in line for pulse we were told to get comfortable and visit with neighbors, etc. But that turned into a mess when it was time to move because people were all over the place and not in their vehicles to move. Not the fault of BMIR though.

I also only listened on entry and exit and agree with Junglesmacks. I also listen off-playa, but you don't ask about that.

What I find odd about the map is the hot spots all along the ring between I and J. It's very consistent, almost like the whole ring was walked by a team that was pickier than the others. Is that how the map is made?

In 2007 I setup camp for 2 in a space of about 60' deep and 30' wide. This was more than enough space for the van, tent and shade and a place to play jarts along the street. This was out on J. By mid week we had neighbors closing in, and someone at one point tried to setup camp on the jarts court, b...

Mostly I wear my boots, but sometimes I wear sandals, and sometimes nothing at all. I have yet to have any trouble with playa foot, but I don't walk around with my feet exposed much and when I do, I clean them before putting on socks and my boots.

Hi Miki! ePlaya is probably not an exact duplication of the playa as far as demographics go. I suspect we tend to be on the older side as you seem to have found. Anyway, enjoy the wisdom you find here and ignore the snark (or join in).

Re: Rite of Passage meets Floating World

Now, where would the line be? 3:00 to 9:00 @ the man? There was "The Abyss" in 02 which was the outer road, so it could be crossing that circle to the deep playa. Or it could be crossing from the inner playa to the outer reaches formed by the Esplanade circle. Hard to know exactly where it is out t...
