Re: PVC 101 HELP pls

We attached three of the legs of our pop-up to T stakes by first wrapping the leg and stake with plastic wrap, then wrapping duct tape nice and tight over that. Stayed in place great, and no guys to trip over.

I've left two cans of Spotted Dick at PineMom's house, and bet she still has them since no one ever seems to open it, let alone take a bite. It is supposed to be best served wih hard sauce.

Dave's Killer Bread is the best! I've kept it in a dry cooler for close to 2 weeks and never seen a bit of mold. Supposed to be all natural/organic, blah blah blah. I am not asking any questions about something that tasty that lasts so long.

Re: Is burningman selfish?

Whether taking off on your bike by yourself is selfish or not is largely a manner of timing.
Taking off without a word during camp setup/takedown/mooping = selfish.
Taking off exploring after checking if you are needed = excellent thing to do.

I'm traveling 2,000 miles from the East Coast, and want to shorten my trip by taking Jungo Road. It's on the map..so it's gotta be safe, right? I'll be pulling a fully loaded cargo trailer with my Honda Civic. Are there any shops on that road, that can fix Low Pro's if I get a flat? The Howard John...

Anyone know the best place to rent an RV? I don't have a drivers license or a credit card, but I think one of my buddies does. Will this be a problem?

Re: Awkwardly Camping with Ex & his GF Situation - Advice?

From what you have described of this guy, his having sex next to you might be the least of your problems with him. When you take an RV into BRC, what you have going in is all you get for fresh water, tank capacity, propane and fuel. (yes, it is possible to get pump-outs, but they can take a long tim...

As hot and dusty as it is sitting in line in a car with the windows rolled up, I really would not care if a motorcycle passed me. In fact, I would probably think they guy was nuts if he was just sitting there in the car line breathing all that dust and vehicle exhaust.

It really is better to bring something to gift -honey, cookies, cake, booze- and just hit up a coffee theme camp with that, rather than go to Center Camp every morning. Or, yeah, $100 a cup of joe, my tent. I'll even strain it with a clean sock. Bring your cup to EspressoCamp for your morning fix o...

I keep my meds in a small cooler in a shady spot. Open the cooler in the morning or at night to let cool air in, then do not open during the heat of the day. And I only take the quantity I need, so even if a little effectiveness is lost it will only be for a few days worth.

Three of us camped on the playa one night last week, and judging by how empty it was pretty safe to say I had the only smartphone on the Black Rock Desert. I got a pair of those same shoes, and I plan to wear them around camp and for bike riding. My other shoes include a pair of uggs knockoffs (worn without ...

Knowmad, if you are really flexible for your dates and times, Southwest currently has fares SEA/RNO RT for as low as about $118. Not going to find much cheaper than that.
