Re: "MaxCold" coolers - 5 days of ice?

Ah....good pics..... Im pretty sure Coleman has "borrowed" the handle design now. I will try to get a pic. Oops, i think I mispoke about the handles. I think it was the IGLOO cooler I looked at had the same flipable handles that the Coleman does. I will check it out hopefully tomorrow. I was...

You have a truly sick vid collection BBadger...I like it I juice/blend daily and am just going under the assumption I'll have to go without this week. Sucks, b/c I'm addicted. But oh well. Not sure how well freezing would work. I've mixed, put in the fridge covered, then drank 12 hours later and it ...

Re: Is there a line you Can cross at bm?

I hate it when we get all serious. You're all a bunch of freakin commies. I only get offended if someone hurts a child, or any other person who can't defend themself. Then I want to break my foot off in their ass. I'm not offended if someone wears a Nazi uniform. I just think they're an idiot. Now i...

I'm going to bring my ipod, which in Defaultyland I basically never use. Well then why the hell would you bring it to BM, asks the snow ice vendor. Well I'll tell you why, you cold bastard...because, for me, music selection can make or break an adventure. I'm hypersensitive to cold in my nether regi...

I just happened across this thread while on Facebook. Just thought I'd let all of the good people who go to burning man know what the feelings are. It's not about the guest tickets. It's about spreading hate, which is what I saw when I saw the comments. Maybe when you encounter blatant bigotry in y...

God I wish I could afford this. I'm not a fan of those animal hat things, but this is so cool. Especially when it makes me think of Workaholics. Which cracks me up in general.

Re: The Burner's Guide To Leaving No Trace

Cigarette butts are among the top MOOP of actual MOOP found , however, they're not all over the ground by any means. Most people do bring a candy tin or similar, yes. AntiM makes fancy ones and gifts them! Wow, that's great. Surprised people actually do that. Would think the drunken fools would jus...

I paid $72 for a room with two queen beds. They had a cheaper rate if I was willing to pay upfront, but you never know what could happen in 5 months so I wasn't willing to do that. I think I would have saved $10 or so.

I wonder how many cig butts they pick up, and how they pick them up. If I lower myself to smoking (advice: don't start young and you'll be fine) I'll put mine in an altoid box. But I can't imagine that the average burner, especially ones just going for the party, are going to care enough, or be sobe...

Yeah, there were a lot of CHP south of bishop last year. Pretty much any of those towns you want to slow way down. One should also bear in mind that, if you think canned tuna is one label away from cat food, that perception won't be magically removedby Playa dust. In other words, bring foods you like to eat at home, that are also durable and easy to prepare. I will not be bringing food that requires refrigeratio...

After fighting the idea, I have decided to follow the recommendation of breaking the trip up. I like MDFs response. It's so weird to hear myself talking like this (am I finally an adult? no, not quite yet). But instead of thinking of it as being special, think about it as being of service.
