yeah but once a year we can escape that bullshit. even if it is in the middle of a dust devil. Who says it has to be once per year? You can bring the playa experience / mindset home. I did this year and it's substantially changed things around here. So much so that now it looks like I'll be out on ...

Ok...fire the cannons time. Larry supports coffee sales at center camp. It appears this has the support of ALL of the senior members of the LLC or at least enough that it's not going to change. Out of all the issues going on with the event why is this dead horse still being flogged? If it has Larry'...

Kinky will also make pot legal
Hopefully that will come to pass and the enlightenment will spread to other states. Save our prison space for child molesters, not for someone caught with a quarter.

There's a lot involved in setting up a Non-Profit...make sure you have plenty of Tagamet and Excedrin on hand. I like your idea but I'm not sure how well it would fly, our NP was setup for different reasons than what you're proposing and it has been a major pain in the ass with hoops on top of hoops...

Depending on your area of specialty there is some money to be made. Keep in mind that these images are from an event that stresses NO COMMERCE and that goes to extra efforts to control the media and the work of professional photographers....with that in mind I raised my objection. After the poster s...

How nice...people bust their asses and spend thousands of dollars to build all the art...then someone else comes along with a camera and snaps pics, puts 'em up on the web and makes money off it?

That sucks. And the token 10% donation doesn't make it look any better either.

Yup. Placement rears it's ugly head again. You have to try and prevent the bad applications from getting to Frog and Company in the first place. I know you're still steaming over the Ranger response. But the goal here is to stop this before it even needs to get heated much less require a Ranger inte...

FOUND: 4 GB SD Card with some Seattle and BRC images on it

While I was at Dance Dance Immolation on Friday night I found a 4 GB My Flash 150X Turbo SD card. The card has about 90+ images on it and a couple look like they were taken in downtown Seattle as the space needle is visible in the background and there's a couple of monorail pix too. If this sounds l...

So...before we discuss anything else it seems what we really need to do is push for "truth in placement". When a camp fills out the form so that Frog and the others can make a determination on placement of course it needs to be accurate. Perhaps a blurb in the JRS about the problems this lack of acc...
