How do you make your grandmother say a dirty word?

Have her best friend shout "BINGO!"

Movies that Remind You of Burningman

I thought this might be a fun thread and a way to turn people on to films that others might not have seen. "Akira Kurosawa's Dreams" - just full of wonderful imagery "Labyrinth" an "The Dark Crystal" - for the same reasons "Mad Max" - the whole trilogy "Fightclub" - infinitely quoteable "Spirited Aw...

"If I had a tumor, I'd name it Marla." "On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero." "This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time." might as well post the whole damn script ;) I especially love "After fightclub, everything else in your life has got the volume...

FYI, the login area DOES disappear from the corner after you've logged in. To duplicate this problem, you'll have to logout first.

Login Box in the Top Right of the Main Page

Filling out and clicking the "login" link a the top right hand side of the main page sends you to the login page, where you have to retype in your name and password. This shouldn't happen. Either the "login" link should log you in or the "name" and "password" fields should be removed. I still like t...

Burningman Logo at Top Left of Page

Shouldn't the "Burning Man" link in the top left of the page link back to www.burningman.com? I click it and it sends me back to the eplaya homepage. The "e-playa" link in the leftish-center of the page links back to eplaya homepage as expected. rodent (putting the eek in geek) "There's not a word y...

I was rapidly becoming a beer snob before I came to BM. The playa taught me to apreciate cheap beer (well, and hanging out with DPW a lot). As canned American beer goes... that's a tough one. Most better beer comes almost exclucivly in bottles (a bitch to pack out). As bottled beer goes, I perfer Si...

For me... Cheese Nips! Salt and Carbs and orange colored goodness. and... Safeway Select Mini Raviolis. Salt, sugar, carbs, protein and red flavored goodness. Cheap too (and better than Chef Boi Ardi IMHO... yes I did a taste test). This year, my lips were stained orangeish/red as if I were a Spice ...

trulydoolally, you know, this is a wonderful oportunity for you to START something. A part of the point of Burningman is to DO things rather than waiting for something to be done for you. Think of something fun to do, either monthly or weekly and then announce it here. It doesn't have to be a big, c...

However, next time, I will not bring bacon! Way too much greese. Actually, if you bring or save a waxed milk carton, pour your grease into it, at the end of the event, it's burn barrel time. bacon/beef/poultry fat WILL burn. If you wanna get REALLY industrious, make a poormans' sterno candle. Take ...
