You could call it "camp spite."

Maybe you could take pictures of people in the water to add to the collection on your website showing the "atrocities" of previous burners.

The thing that bothers me the most, is that shame around nudity and sexuality are what cause harmful behaviors. Women and children become targets for sexual abuse because of the lack of information necessary to combat abuse and the shame that prevents people from reporting it. Pornography and peepin...

Yes it has to do with population. That's why the Census Report gets to be such a political issue, as in who's getting counted and where the lines are drawn for representation.

I wouldn't worry about the 24/7 thing. I would just stick to the plan that was presented to Theme Camp Placement and honor that agreement. Bring ear plugs and hope that nearby camps do as they are "supposed" to and keep the speakers off the ground. I have camped out that way before and was able to g...

OK, I'm going to commit Eplaya heresay, but here goes. I was out on the playa 12 days last year. I only had about 10 pairs of socks with me. I wore everything. Some days I wore tennis shoes, some days thin soled fashion boots and a couple different pairs of sandals. In some years past I got playa fo...

Well from a former leather queen, yes you can take leather to the playa. It will get a bit weathered or conditioned. You can neutralize them a bit by wiping on vinegar, then cleaning with a good leather cleaner. They will still be quite wearable but you will have accelerated the well worn look.

Q: Can I go to Burning Man if I'm pregnant? A: While the Burning Man Guide offers so general suggestions about pregnancy, you should of course consult with your doctor. Have found that an EZ Up under cammo netting has been pretty good. Though airflow is what seems to best for keeping cool, so no solid walls are ideal. A mesh cot or hammock under a shade structure are great for long naps.

So Glad BM is Brand Free

I am really glad that the Borg encourages everyone to cover their brand labels on trucks, clothing, etc. It's good to have a place that isn't invaded by corporate sponsorship. I haven't been in the Center Camp Cafe for a couple of years. Do they cover all product branding there? My spouse just forwa...

NIce branding....I just got a new tat 2 days ago. How long did it take for that to heal? With brands you're supposed to pick at the scabs, so it can take awhile. It took several weeks for the scabbing to stop, after repeated self removals of the scabs. After 2 to 3 months it looked pretty much how ...

I switched to a mostly raw diet this summer. I have been reading an online community for raw food diets. Many people have noticed that once they detox, they produce more spit. Sounds like dehydration shouldn't be a problem for you guys.

Some people park their rigs in their camps. However, if you want to get rid of the unsightly beast, you can usually park it towards the outer edges of the camping areas. Might be best to head out on the nearest street to you and go towards Sedna. That way you could still walk to your truck without n...
