cricket on the playa
cricket on the playa
Hello
I'm coming over from the UK with a friend. We thought it would be pretty cool to play a game of cricket on the playa. Not a long one obviously, but definitely with full kit, umpires and definitely definitely with English tea and scones afterwards.
anyone interested, drop me a line.
see you in Nevada!

wow! I wish I'd seen this post a month ago.
manners, did you manage to get a game together??
My friends and I wanted to organise a game too. I spent 3 hours one morning explaining some of the rules of cricket to a fellow burner... during which time we realised that the word "wicket" is a tad over-used (there are at least 3 distinct meanings I can think of!)
I would love to do this next year in all its surreal silliness - whites, umpires, tea-breaks and of course, streakers!
