Just bumping this thread up because we wouldn't want any of these last minute newbies to miss out on the initiation, uh, I mean fun and games. We will have cups for wine and tequila shots, but feel free to bring beer and ice and munchies. And absinthe.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I was tasked with picking up a tourist in Reno(never again virgin mistake). I got back late only to find the dome I had spent 2 days building was completely rocked by the first dust storm of the week. I will catch you next year though.

I missed it for the 2nd year in a row, Kinda bummin bout that. I was actually on my bike, enroute when my friends from New Orleans arrived just as I was peddling away to the MnG.

I really enjoyed the meet and greet this year. In years past it has been so crowded and crazy that it was hard to relax and even remember who I meeted and greeted. The dust storm had quite an effect on the party population and it was a managable group. Thanks to all the guests who braved to the storm to get to the party. I had a blast!

Yep, Sorry to report I missed due to the dust storm. I was holed
up on Boeal a block away due to dust and had a bit much to drink
at Happy Camp. I passed out on a chair and woke up several
hours after the Meet-Greet was over.

Met a number of you guys anyway at Booby Bar, BBdeath 7 wine
bar and at Apolikokia (sp).

Sorry to report that Tonya and I were not able to make the party this year. We were running behind in getting "Crude Awakening" up and running. I hope the Side Show Wine went to a good cause.

Absolutely! Got it ice cold in the freezer of the RV and handed out thimblefuls to campmates. One for you, one for me...one for you, one for me...one for me...oh my... (kerplunk!)

I can't believe that I missed you guys. I was on my way out to the event, but I got on an art car going the wrong direction. By the time I realized my mistake, I was having too much fun and made a few new friends, so decided to stick it out for a while. I still missed meeting you and headed out that way later, only to find an empty bar... where I met a few more new friends... etc.

Is anyone planning on going to decompression? I met Bay Bridge Sue, but nobody else from here. I'd still love to meet y'all!

IJ'll be at teh San Francisco decomp.

LA, Seattle, Reno and I belive New York also have decompressions, so it's a good idea to be specific.

I had every intention of being at the meet-n-grope, or whatever, and I'm not even sure HOW the hell I ended up so late (it was kinda' "over" by the time I got there)... freakin "playa time"... I was there in '04 and had a great time; here's to '08!
