Looking to bring some magical music to the playa this year

Post by djjc » Wed Aug 15, 2007 3:46 pm

Hello all,
I'm afraid I haven't been pushing the self promotional thing as hard as I should have been for the burn this year, and I'm looking up at the calendar thinking "Oh crap!" Why, you say? Because there's less than 2 weeks left and I've only got one solid gig lined up so far. NOT what I want to bring to the playa. I want to bring the sound that's going to drive the crowds into a frenzy! And one event just doesn't seem like enough. :)

I've DJ'd on the full range of soundsystems out on the playa, from big to small. I've been DJing for 10 years now and I've DJ'd at the big clubs and I've DJ'd at the small bar. I can cover most any style of music to get people moving and shaking, or I can bring the chill to get people deep in their heads. Just help me find a venue to do so.

Example live (non-prepared, non-remastered) mixes are on my site: http://downloads.jcthedj.com

Any help/leads would be greatly appreciated! I need to share my musical love with my fellow freaks. ;) Requests to perform in costume will be considered. :) ( See http://tinyurl.com/3cz54c )

And as an aside, I'll be camping with Hair Of The Dog within the Silicon Village ( http://www.burningman.com/themecamps/07 ... ill_s.html ) where we'll have a live music stage setup. So if you're also a performer, come on by 6:30 and Coral Reef and share your music and a tasty beverage with the masses. We never know who may jump up on stage!

Thanks so much!! Enjoy!
