they were made for walking.

last year i put them in the temple, and they burned.

does anyone have a photo?....you would know instantly by the description.

black leather biker harness boots.size 12....cracked and dusty like they've been thru a war, the soles were the third sole, and held on with various staples, nails, glue and tape. they were in the south entrance, perched about eye level.

they were my best friend for 20 years.

i brought them out on sunday, afternoon, 4 or five hours before the temple burn....i didnt want to have the chance to change my mind.

i burned them because i wasnt going to go back for various, now meaningless reasons....obviously, somewhere around Nixon, on the way to the airport in reno, i changed my mind, again....

anyway, i was hoping someone out there noticed my friend, Mr. Boots, and took a picture...i had worn them to the burn every year since 96'...they had been everywhere i had been.

i dont have a pic of them in any condition, and maybe, just maybe one exists of them, right before they passed on to Boot heaven, where they'll be spit shined by god himself.

Well, they were on fire, and had shit on the bottom... they looked like they were having an awful time. But I just pointed, laughed, and took pictures.
