Thank you Comrades,Your requests and Just Demands for SMOU 17 Peoples Music has indicated a popular and rising tide of Peoples Activism that is a shining yet distinct example of the demands of the Popular Masses for a vehicle that serves their interests as well as revolutionary movements everywhere.

Comrade Finnigan,Your proposal concerning Set The Controls. has been approved by The People in a unanimous vote by the Culture and Information Bureau.Congratulations Comrade this will be included, with a place of honor. in our night long Psych 60's set.

Comrades Box Burner,As a member of ASSS and for the same reason given for a previous approval of Procul Harem song your submission is accepted.Thank you.Another Psch 60's ditty for SMOU 17.

Comrade Jelly,A most excellent choice and one that you may choose to play yourself when in the controls.

Comrade Rocketman,If one reviews the requirements for proper submission you will note that they are quite modest.Only that the song in question has never been played on the Open Playa in the history of The Project.

Unfortunately, according to reports by people we pay to perform such tasks, word has reached us that this tune has been played twice.Once in 1999 and then again in 2003.We regret to inform you Dr.John,in this case, does not qualify.

Comrades,A few more ideas on music and then we announce glorious news.
Be careful. You can spend all your money in there..............................Oriental Visitor

while the brothers twazed believe and fight for the cause of everyman we cannot walk lockstep with anyone as we dance to the beat of our own drums, we will promote the cause of indivduality, and bring the twazed spirit to every corner of the playa. We will bring our splash of color and the revolutionary spirit of or ideals to the worker and artist haven that is the Terminal City...damn the man, whatever clothes he may wear.

Peace, Love, and Twazed.

Beloved Brother #1,How you honor our humble endeavor. Our toilers eyes swell with tears of pride and their chests heave prominently at the realization of what they have accomplished.

Sky Pilot!Of course!Self criticism meetings are booked solid as our cadres discuss openly and frankly why this most obvious of choices was not already enshrined on The Peoples Playlist.

Comrade itwazed,I speak for The Association when I say we welcome cultural exchanges with fair minded Peoples throughout The Playa.By doing so they may learn and appreciate the true scope of living under the golden skies and brilliant sun of our Socialist System.A system that bestows bountiful blessing to followers and true believers of The Correct Killbuck Line.Perhaps after a short visit you too will be convinced of this Truth. Then and only then will you be able to discard those fanciful illusions and cosmopolitan notions of"individuality"and"twazed spirit".

Excellent Eric Burdon & The Animals song, Kernul! 8)

Here's a few of my favorite classics from the late 60s/early 70s you've probably never heard of:

"Machines" - Lothar and the Hand People (a classic - wonder why no one ever covered it?)
"Get High" - The Sons of Champlain (good luck finding this one - although they have recently released a new album only a couple of the songs relive the glory days)
"Fresh Garbage" - Spirit
"I Just Wanna Make Love to You" - Cold Blood (still performing - they were in Salt Lake a couple of years ago)
"Mona" - Quicksilver Messenger Service
"I Had Too Much to Dream Last Night" - The Electric Prunes (yeah, we had our goofy-assed band names too)
"Magic Carpet Ride" - Steppenwolf
"The Crystal Ship" - Doors
"2000 Light Years from Home" - The Rolling Stones
"Bombay Calling" - It's a Beautiful Day

and on and on and on.... 8)

How about the Beacon Street Union 'Green destroys the Gold'?
Or how about St John Green?
F is for Fowley.
Is he putting us on?

I had to much to dream is perfect for this crowd.

The brothers twazed and the camp de la twazed are always open to an exchange of ideals and even more open to sharing drink and merriment, the whirlwind which will accompony the passing of the physical embodiments of twazed will leave the terminal city changed forever and im sure the brothers twazed will never be the same after spending time with our socialist satellite brethren.

as for a song check out

Ah Yes Comrade DJmoYST,from each according to his ability,to each according to his needs. Not even Karl Marx in"Critique of the Gotha Program" could imagine those words being more appropriate than what will occur in 82 days at Black Rock.

Except perhaps at Camp Twazed. We are to bring tribute to the peoples who lounge indolently at the so called "Lounge Da Da"?

No Comrade,we are interested in ties with all fair minded camps but only those who do not insult us with diktats and quotas.Nevertheless we sense goodwill on your part and will ignore the slight at this time.

The early three stooges theme song.
Their writer was blacklisted for political content in the three stooges and killed himself eventually in a phone booth.
The music is suitable for most governments.

Comrades,His Excellency salutes each and every submission.None shall go unplayed!!!!!We have opened the floodgates to the Thought of The People and it carries away in its tide any undue residue and filth brought on by reactionaries, wreckers, capitalist roaders, rightists and anti-party cliques,Glory to those who post on this most revolutionary and progressive thread.

Comrades,An important announcement if you will.Few know that SMOU 17(State Mobile Observation Unit No 17),in a sterling example of providing for The People will double as"Workers Pro-Creation Lounge #1".

In a bold experiment His excellency has ordered SMOU 17,whose normal mission is to follow and track suspicious and perhaps even dangerous counter revolutionaries on The Playa,to serve the Popular Masses even further.

At considerable expense and thought the inside of SMOU 17 has now been converted into a lavish yet proletarian bed room.Only Worker Heroes, too weary from their toils to return home and serve the state by pro-creating,may use this facility.

Therefore Comrades keep this in mind in submitting any further pleas and demands.(Thinking of Alvin and The Chipmunks from Comrade Badger here)

Knowing your revolutionary and progressive background we will allow this indiscretion to pass and not press for a critical self denouncement at this time.We will look forward to a clarification however and suggest a meeting at The Katina at a time of your choosing in late August.

this seems to follow closely to the classless society of socialism; i will most likely relate more with those "low ranking party hacks, various lackeys and a stooge or two" than so called "President a'Via" so send them all, not just the few.
