I love California land forms, can get quite internally mushy about them. Snyder's of Hangover sourdough pretzels. (Sorry for the brand name, folks, but it's important.) The Rockies and the Sierras. The Mammoths and Passenger Pigeons, even if they aren't around right now. Crazy ass writers like Tim Powers, and Philip K Dick and Frank L. Baum. Whacked out puppeters too. Saguaro and other Cacti. I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of it right now.

America doesn't have a free market. It's regulated by the feds and I love that about America.

that we live in a country where this kinda shit shocks us:
KHARTOUM, Sudan - Sudanese authorities on Tuesday questioned a British teacher who could face charges of insulting religion - a crime punishable by up to 40 lashes - after she allowed her young students to name a teddy bear Muhammad in a class project.

Long-hood Peterbilt trucks, musclecars, power boats, Burning Man... and although wedeliver should never let the power cord of a Packard Bell get near an electrical outlet when America has Macs, he's absolutely spot-on about the Baskin-Robbins ice cream! Make mine a double cone, chocolate and chocolate-chip cookie dough.
