The "Dream" is a jumped shark

Postby Hamandegger » Tue Dec 18, 2007 5:38 am

Fuck it, I'm going to New York this year instead of to BRC, going to protest the 9/11 coverup on the anniversary of the event. A better use of time and money.

I will notice a significant decrease in the amount
of dust in the filter on my generators.

Didn't you hear?? The American Dream is just a big cover up..

2008 "Reefer Toking Dream" will be the substitute laid upon us at the gate. Even better, the man's still gonna be green this year! Unfortunately the first night some foolish individual will misplace their lit doobie at the man's feet, thus causing another PDA type scare. The real bad news is that everyone will be too stoned to notice whats going on and will get to creating a new man after "just a little longer staring at the Cubatron". :P
He appears mad indeed but to a few, because the majority is infected with the same disease. [Lat., Nimirum insanus paucis videatur, eo quod Maxima pars hominum morbo jactatur eodem.]

The hot dogs are the best. especially after the vendor just gets back from going to the bathroom without washing their hands.

Skip the corner vendor. Snyder's of Hangover sells stale tasting sourdough pretzels by the box.

You're not going to accomplish anything either way, except that more people will think you're a nutjob for doing the New York thing... but hey, if that sounds more fun to you...

Postby Cassidy » Wed Aug 20, 2008 12:23 pm

Um, wouldn't you be able to do both? Or did they change the anniversary date to cover it up?

...and what does either have to do with sharks??

I think the sharks eat the pretzels that have all the salt licked off of them.

lol funny funny... Good point though. You would be able to do both... And I dispute the comment about it being a better use of time and money. Protesting doesn't really accomplish a whole lot. And I doubt your going to uncover the mystery of 9/11 by attending a protest with picket signs in hand. Now don't get me wrong, I am all about making change happen, but I never really saw protesting as a way to do it. Between those two choices its not even a question. I would take life experience over protesting anytime. But none of that matters because the dates of the two events are 10 days apart... :D
