I usually spend the summer months trolling eplaya looking for exciting or cool-looking art projects, activities, or events that get will get me juiced up for BM. I'm not having any success so far this year.... What are some cool things you're looking forward to (aside from burning the man early again this year and lighting the whole UN flag plaza on fire)? Any cool projects that you're exciting about checking out? Are we destined to a mediocre year due to this year's lackluster theme? Any thoughts?

Remember that only a very small minority of burners are on eplaya. You can't really gauge much from what you read here.

I've been wondering about the evolution of BM from fewer individuals and groups of art projects, to more new folks dressed in El wire coming and paying to see big BM sponsered projects.

The modern theme camp is a circle of RV's. Not very interactive friendly.

But each year BM has alway been a cloned shadow of itself in the past so this is nothing new.

The Burn is what you make of it - just like Life

I use to date the mixed martial arts World Champ ohhh I mean last year he came in second place in Brazil- Year before he was the World Champ.

He trains with Tito and the Gracies here Hawaii.

I don't actually build shit, just bitch and moan and get fucked-up for my own amusment...

actually 'm working on a couple of pet projects, but none of them are of the mind-blowing variety...one is a bicycle-based sound system that guzzles gasoline like theirs no tommorrow...1,000 watt speaker system on a large hand-made bike trailer with a wifi connection to another bike trailer with a DJ booth.... I juts figured there wasn't enough electronic music or enough bikes at burning man so... also working on a zeppelin for my camp but thats top secret...

well, it took me awhile, and i had to go to every shit-hole mom and pop deli from here to wisconsin to get them, but i FINALLY have 400 packages of sudafed.
