Now that it's 2009 and the American Dream has become the American nightmare, it just seems ironic that we were celebrating the last big ho-rah before the walls started to crumble.

could it be that the theme's are beginning to reflect our society?

"Hope vs. republ, oops i mean Fear" "Let's make some GREEN, MAN" "The American Dream" and now "EVIL Loot, SHUN!"

larry is better tapped into our consciousness than we ever imagined, floating world not included, he was just shit-face drunk when he came up with that one.

You lost me, maybe you can hand me that bong and I can catch up.
Evolution is adaptation to changing circumstances - or extinction.

A-hem! Floating World was a lovely theme.
Well, maybe it would have been better if it hadn't been taken from a euphamism for prostitution, but still, oceans, fish all good stff.

It might be, if the historically socialist countries weather this better than others do.

be afraid, be very afraid.

or not.

I'm actually looking forward to the implants and the coming singularity as we become bio-mechanical.

I've always wanted to be Steve Austin, and now its possible....Infra-red, zoom built in, constant access to information systems wireless and thru my own squishy computer, aka the brain. Ability to communicate by thought, really cool healer "nanobots" and exoskeletal improvements as well as internal organ enhancement.

Evolve, and accept that this is the direction in which we are imminently headed. Welcome to the brave new world, my friends.

Human 2.0

of course, one could argue that this may not be such a good thing and that Ted Kosinski was right on the fucking money.

make sure you get the optional "nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh" bionic sample so when you run or jump it makes that cool sound.

Chances are it will be the other way around. Machine intelligence will decipher human gestures much sooner than human intelligence deciphers machine gestures. The coming singularity will be machines receiving human implants. Machines will wear the countenance of 7 million years of human evolution like a couple of shirts. They will mash human gestures into a body language incomprehensible to humans.
