Video of Camel Costume

Postby retropsycho » Sun Sep 07, 2008 4:56 pm

The costume was hanging up in "Burning Sky" skydiver's theme camp:

Skydiving, Fireflies (non-skydiver airplane rides), Aerial Art Exhibition, Aerial Photography and Videography are some of the many aspects of BurningSky. Stop by and enter a contest to win an observer ride with the skydivers as we jump over BRC from 12,000 feet above the playa.

I will not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone . . . there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

That's very creative.

If someone offers you drugs, it's a cop.
If someone asks you for drugs, it's a cop.
If someone fucks you for drugs, it's not a cop.

For me the still pic was so much more exciting. Something about the walk really makes it obvious to me that it's not a real camel, even though they do have the both legs on the same side thing right. The tail was neat though.

That was amazing during the Battle of the Bands in Center Camp.
So realistic, not not real, the Camel hit the uncanny valley just right.
