I've been watching this thread since last year when I first discovered ePlaya and I have been wanting to meet all of you. I tried to get to the "BOOBIE BAR" last year but I was helping to get a new camp established so alot of my time was spent there. When I did get away, that magnificant dust storm roared up and cut my journey short,( felt I had to get back) Hope to see you all this year. Stagger on!!!

I've heard a lot of people say they went looking for the Booby Bar last year and couldn't find it. They either:
a) got lost,
b) got distracted, or
c) got fukked up somewhere along the way...

Binggitty-Bang & Bumpdy Bump!

How's everyone doing this morning?

I'm feeling a little bit like that guy that traded his way up from a red paperclip to a house...at least in the early stages

I bought a 105 gallon fuel tank to go in the back of my truck. In the tank was 24 gallons of diesel. Emptied the diesel out and spent a couple of weeks trying to give it away to anyone that could use it since my truck uses gasoline. Couldn't give it away. Diesel is $4.13 a gallon last time I looked.

Then last night a guy responded to my craigslist ad asking what I wanted for it. I said, "Whaddaya got?". A couple of hours later, the diesel is gone and an old Yamaha ATV is sitting in it's place. Yes, it's needs a ton of work, but the guy is willing to do the work in trade for some autobody tools and supplies I have laying around. There are two of the same model in the local ads and each is going for $1400. Now, I've seen one mutant vehicle based on an ATV...but it just looked like it had a green cloth and foam somethingorother that just lay on top for the week it was an MV. Is anyone familar with others (I could use some inspiration to start planning for a 2009 appearance)?

I've daydreamed about getting a used 3-wheeler/4-wheeler and turning it into a coffee cup. Plus it could act as an emergency caffiene transport vehicle to supply people in deep playa coming home or coming down from dancing. Spaceships are always cool (Millenium Falcom, anything hardcore/sci-fi).
