Christ, we live in Lincoln. I thought I sensed something in the air. My wife and I were positive we were the only burners within a 25 mile radius. We'll have to look you up.

I'd love to see it, but your problem is you never make it to the playa! So JR, is this the year you actually show up rather that just wearing the shirt?

Oh...and this year Doc...we get to stay and visit, and not run off and get married!

Sorry for the drink and run last year...we had to hitch a ride on the green penis to get to our nuptuals in time, which we did....barely!
Names pinemom, but my friends call me "Piney".

Thanks Fishy, I might have to incorporate that idea somehow.

And Barbie (no relation), I got a nice email from JR, our eskimo buddy, with you and he at the beach in Hawai'i. Like I told him, the two of you make half a cute couple! See you on the playa.

Do you mind if I sit down for a moment. I would love a glass off Marlow.
I am going vegan.
You can still eat souls, right?
Those are vegan. I think.

It seems almost tragic that Camp Herring has had more hits than BDC&WB. I owe Killbuck an apology.

It's that rancid fish smell overpowering the fine bouquet of award winning wine. What are ya gonna do, Doc? it's the way of true art as opposed to crass fart jokes.

lonestoner, when you drop into Raley's (especially in the morning before 11 a.m.), stop by the Peet's coffee counter and ask for Carley. She is a member of BDC&WB and lives near by. Never a bad idea to get to know our fellow burners.

Never a bad idea to get your coffee at Peet's.

Well okay, it's too oily, but I'm from Berkeley and as part of our civic pride we have to keep pointing out our contributions to coffee culture.

Hi back at ya, Red. I see I'm on your "Buddy List". Wish I knew what the hell all that means! Oh, a little self-promotion here: In Jessica Bruder's book "Burning Book" there is a nice picture of BDC&WB as the lead-in to Chapter 4 ("The Desert Will Kill You"). Which just goes to show, our camp is more famous than your camp. Probably.
