Who's Going to Burning Man?

Post by Sk8GodFather » Tue Jun 24, 2008 4:45 pm

Are you organizing a theme camp? I think this will mark 10 years for the Black Rock Roller Disco. The camp is filling up nicely. We're going to have a great setup and crew, but I am still asking who is going.

Have you seen the YouTube video, "Hitler Plans For Burning Man". As a person planning a theme camp, I thought this was hilarious!!! Check it out at

This is Year Number Nine for Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro. And to think, in 2000 we only had 11 miserable Barbies hammered into the playa with tent stakes and an EZ Bake Oven. Now look at us, all grown up and shit.

...and the Destiny Lounge rises for its second incarnation, after a couple of years as the Bubble Bar before that. Definitely looking forward to it!

Pani and I are taking the year off. Still recuperating from the expense of last year (as well as the two break-ins we suffered on the van following the burn), as well as working hard on plans for next year. This year's theme only made it easier for us to make the decision.
