I really enjoyed this year's Burn and I want to thank everyone for making this such a wonderful experience. I'm trying to recall a specific quote that was posted alongside the drive to the gates, which at the time I thought was very meaningful and I wanted to jot it down for future reference. But alas my memory is no longer what it used to be. Does anyone have a complete video or recording of all quotes on the signs this year?
Thank you so much!

Memory is a bit fuzzy but... something about... "Abandon hope all ye who enter here."
Pretty sure that was it.
Or, was it....

Wasn't there something about work and freedom? Like Freedom from Work, but that's not it.

By any chance was this the quote?
"It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change."
I am actually collecting examples of this quote being used, for a study of its "evolution". I've heard it was used on some of the entrance signs that you see as you drove in to Burning Man 2009, but I can't find a picture online.
Does anyone know (a) anyone who might have a picture or video, or (b) the people who made the signs?
I'm trying to find...providing it even exists, a listing of the quote signs that you see once you make the drive in from gate to greeters every year. Surely someone at the BM HQ has archived this info somewhere. I wrote down one particular quote out of several I really liked and it has stuck with me ever since. I would like to know the source of the quote..and where the BM staff pulled it from as Google searches have came up empty.
One quote in mind: We fear our own potential the most.
If anyone can guide me in the right direction I would sincerely appreciate it.

I actually do have video of many of the signs...we were bored and took turns reading them in funny voices. I'll try to remember to upload them and link to it...
