camp looking for another to share a generator???

Post by sunnystar » Thu May 21, 2009 9:07 pm

we have been out as a theme camp 2 previous years (but took last year off) as:

2006 - spank the monkeys wet spot bar
2007 - spank the monkeys frozen wet spot (with asylum village)

we will be back this year as:

Spank the Monkey - The Darwin Lounge. The natural selection for fun and enlightenment.

with a big top covered dome (32 ft) and a bar decorated victorian darwin-esque style.

if anyone is interested, hit me back!!

Are you looking to share agenerator, or looking to share yours with some other camp.

Ya gotta be specific here, or the the ducks will leave bruises on your calves.
We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.

Generators are not allowed this year...hey, I don't make the rules.
Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.

Generator sharing

Post by bradtem » Fri May 29, 2009 12:16 am

We've been in a generator sharing pool for several years, but it is not happening this year, so we're looking for another. We're a small camp, about 20-25 people but 5 RVs, on-esplanade. There is another large camp also interested, Camp I Am, about 150-200, probably 6-8 bus/RVs.

We're a pretty quiet camp, though, with a focus on art that needs a quieter environment (photos, a phone booth, sno kones etc.) Is your sound system need to have more quiet ambient in the bar, or something likely to be attention getting next door? One of our generator goals is to not have small generators and RV generators running in camp.

We should chat if you think there's a match. (And soon, camp applications must be filed this weekend.)

Sooooo.....ARE YOU SEEKING A GENERATOR OR OFFERING A GENERATOR?? We (Mystikal Misfits) will be located at 4:30 and B, and are looking for one or more compatible camps to share power with. We have a very large generator, not sure of the specs.

Please private message me to discuss!! Thanks

As a fellow Monkey, I must say that love meshing with other camps when possible. Previously, we camped with a village and enjoyed the hell out of it. We'd be thrilled to camp along side you. It never hurts to have a bar next door, you know?
I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.
