The Service & Sales team thinks strategically and with deep emotion about the entire soulmate industry and helps define operational initiatives that contribute to the company's growth and playfulness. Our team of highly creative visionaries thrives in deconstructing and identifying high quality soulmates to meet changing desires & needs, enable unique connections and help the company continue to achieve its vast potential. Our work includes such projects as setting up & taking down camp, making meals, heckling hippies & tourists, staging unique corporate team building activities, serving up strong cocktails at our pharmacy, establishing initiatives in emerging markets (ask about our lucky charms decomp initative) and of course matching people with high quality soulmates at low low prices. We measure our effectiveness by monitoring the concrete impact we have on people, the playa and how much fun we have.
The role: Customer Service Representative
As an Customer Service Representative, you're at the forefront in helping to define the company. Working one on one with our customers, you immerse yourself in information and draw insight from the dust to help them discover new soulmates. You persuasively communicate with our clients and drive quality matches, executing on your responsibilities while having fun in the process. Sample projects include: guiding CSTO's future investment strategy in polypsychism, and leading post-merger soulmate integration.
Responsibilities:
Assist in setting up and taking down camp and share in doing daily communal duties (cleaning, cooking, ice runs, etc.)
Interview, analyze and match massive amounts of diverse souls.
Develop compelling, insightful and awesome relationships.
Work hard.
Play harder.
Requirements:
Playful personalities preferred with a strong or weak academic record. Interpersonal and dancing skills are a plus.
At least 2 recent years of demonstrated life experience in a non-douche bag role.
Impeccable playa judgment; open-mindedness.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills; ability to be personable- even if in a surly way.
Hard workers. We love each other and want to make the camp special- that means we work together, we play together- no one slacks.
Dedication to gift-giving. We provide an awesome and totally fun service to Burning Man. People love us and we want to show them the love back.
Amenities/ Benefits/ Vacations:
Compensation: Campmates are compensated comeptitively with love, affection, unlimited exposure to dust, 2 delicious meals a day and good company.
Healthcare: cool, frothy, blended drinks from the pharmacy during your shift.
Vacation: The store closes early one day during the week to engage in debauchery and naughty antics during our annual Drunken Catholic School Girl bike/ bus ride.
Flex Time: You are expected to serve at least one store shift a day and assist with communal tasks (ice run, garbage, compost, kitchen, clean-up, etc.) but the rest of the time is your own to do with as you please.
Amenities: large shade structures, shower, gray water disposal, many couches, kitchen, a hammock, sexy people, active mailing list with which you can communicate year round with your sexy campmates.
