Pan-Global, Polysexual, Proactive People

Post by InnocentWhenYouDream » Wed Jul 08, 2009 3:21 am

Greetings!

We are a group of 5 living thousands of miles apart who are converging on the playa for our first ever BM. We have boys, girls, vegetarians, carnivores, queers, straights, couples, singles, europeans, north americans, all of whom are pursuing very different lives bound together by a strong friendship. AND we are looking for a camp we can contribute to and hang out with....

Does anyone have any suggestions?
We are hoping to bring with us 20s Jazz and cricket, if that helps you think.

All ideas welcome.

We are rather short of wickets and cricket bats in the snowy state. You may have to bring your own. By all means share your 20's jazz, we are all about inclusion. Welcome to e-playa.

It's getting late in the game to join a camp. Our village isn't accepting more unless known by persons already in it. And we're finalizing plans. I'd say, just go, camp with each other and see who you meet on playa/

Yeah we kind of figured that we'd camp alone, but then I met someone the other day who said it is important to find a camp beforehand. However, it looks like we have left it too late.

We are driving from sf in a transit van, so we should be able to get all the stuff we need to make our own camp, and we will take it from there I guess.....

Hmmm, I guess I must have done it wrong.
The first 4 years my wife and I where out we just pulled in, parked, meet the neighbors and camped.
I always tell people to bring what they need to support themselves for the "time" they are there, wander, explore, be amazed.

If you make it back a few years you will have a better idea what your tastes are.

That was our inital plan, but I have had some conflicting messages from people that claim to know whats what. However, I really don't want to stress out about it. We were always going to bring everything we needed to survive the week anyway, so if we find a camp, great, if we build a camp with our neighbours, great, and if we go it alone, great.

dont get sucked in to this rainblow bullshit. If i ever see ponytails on men, i immediately know they are ass-licking, Tolkien reading turds.

the epitome of stupid, IMHO.....bunch of douchebag "Magick" hippies who think that because they have pictures of THE CROWLEY lying around that they are somehow cool, and evil, at the same time. They're not.

most of them are former dungeon masters, and i mean this in a role playing with dice kinda way, not the temple of atonement version.

"Kitchen", thats code for we do Rainbow too!

FUCK THAT...

"a number of poly folk in our camp.." that means "chances are if you didn't have herpes before this trip, you will when you get home".

"spiritual vibe"....oh, go fuck yourselves.

You got five people. If that's not a camp, then what is?

You don't need to register your theme camp, only if you are concerned about placement.

don't take it for true when one person tells you it's too late to find a camp. keep looking.
