ARACHNOPHOBIA

Camp Arachnophobia is returning to the playa this year with prime Esplanade placement. AND we are seeking new camp mates!!

Imagine a 50 foot spider sitting on the playa, beckoning you inside...You step in and enter a cabaret of the mysterious. The first room is a lounge with open bar and comfy seating. Step into the big dome and you are in a full scale nightclub. BIG sound and pretty lights and a large dance floor. Some of the events scheduled thus far are as follows: Primarily Goth-Industrial = Heavy Duty Dance Floor Destruction!! We will have at least one 80s night, maybe two. There will be one DUBSTEP night (Dark side of the breaks). Camp members can spin on the PA with Spider's approval.

Features include:

Full kitchen
Shower
2 domes (comprising the spider)
Shade structures and seating
Drinking water, Gatorade and coffee available 24/7
Being a part of the team that brings the Spider to the Playa!!


ALSO:
Camp members can use the spider for a planned activity. This is a major perk! The domes are available for your event and many slots are still open. If you have a project or lecture or just need a space to hold an an event talk to Spider. If she approves your event you can use the space. We will be having at least two movie nights including Anime and Sci Fi.
Our placement is likely to be esplanade on or near center camp. This means you can leave your tent and enjoy the music of your own camp, AND right out the front door is center camp: ice, coffee, portapotties and MORE!!
