Monday - Pasty Days and Pasty Nights at The Booby Bar
Monday night at the Booby Bar is always a conundrum hidden in a riddle wrapped in a rhetorical question and topped with bacon. In other words, Dog only knows what is going to happen at the Booby Bar on Monday nights. But with a little help from our many, many friends, IT ALWAYS ROCKS! Be brave and come explore the mysteries of Monday night with us. WELCOME HOME!
Tuesday - Casbah-blanca Night at The Booby Bar
The hot, swirling winds deposited a fine chalky sand across Rick's shoes as he stood in the doorway of his joint on the lower east side of Casablanca - Rick's Cafe Americain... Sound familiar? WELL IT SHOULD! Who among us has not had fine chalky sand blown across our shoes by hot swirling winds? But Tuesday night you can do that in a middle eastern setting with exotic music playing in the background and an equally exotic drink nestled in your hand as The Booby Bar is transformed into Rick's Cafe Americain for one awesome night! Costumes are not required to attend but, damn, they sure make things a lot more fun.
Wednesday - Wild Thangs Night at The Booby Bar
Last year our "Furrys Night" was one of the most well attended parties of the entire week for us. This year we want to see Thangs get a little Wild. So bring your inner animal over to The Booby Bar in the Terminal City village on Wednesday night to howl at the moon and shake the dust outta your fur! Costumes not required but, damn, it makes thangs a lot more fun.
Thursday - A*B*C Night at The Booby Bar
Anything But Clothing - a night when clothing disappears and is replaced by...something else. Tissue paper dress? A garbage bag bustier? Turn a deck of cards into a loincloth? Let your imagination run wild! We can't wait to see what you come up with. Costumes are not required to attend but, damn, they sure make things more fun!
Friday - Get The Fuck Out Night at The Booby Bar
This will be the hardest party to get into all week! Discover the secret pass-phrase or all you will hear from the bartenders will be "Get The Fuck Out!" Know it and you'll be In Like Flint. Don't you have something better to do on a Friday night than having a couple of drinks while hanging out with old friends and meeting new ones? Hmmm...neither do we. Welcome home! Now get the fuck out!
Monday - Saturday - Witness Protection Connection [the all week lead in to Saturday night]
Come by The Witness Protection Connection: A Dating Service for the Personae non Gratae and pick up a silk flower that represents your sexual preference: white for hetero; red for bi; blue for gay; pink for lesbian; or yellow for transgendered. Attach it to your backpack, bike, wrist, or wear it your hair if you would like. Then, as you travel around the city during the rest of the week, keep an eye out for another person wearing a flower in your color. If there is an attraction, go ahead and introduce yourself to that person and if that certain chemistry continues to develop, invite him or her to meet you at the Sleepless In Black Rock City Night party at the Booby Bar in the Terminal City Village right after the burn on Saturday night. Pretty romantic, right? Supplies will be somewhat limited so don't wait! Come visit us early in the week for the best selections and the longest/most opportunities to meet that someone special. We'll be right next door to The Booby Bar every afternoon/evening until the party for that night gets started. See you there!
Saturday - Sleepless in Black Rock City at The Booby Bar
This is it! The party we have been working toward all week! The Witness Protection Connection: A Dating Service for the Personae non Gratae has been giving out silk flowers all week long representing your sexual preference: white for hetero; red for bi; blue for gay; pink for lesbian; and yellow for transgendered. Hopefully, as you traveled around the city during the week you ran across someone else wearing/displaying a flower matching your color and you introduced yourself. Maybe there was an attraction there and as you parted you invited them to meet you at The Booby Bar in Terminal City village right after the burn on Saturday night. Ah romance! Or maybe the city was just too big and you didn't see another flower all week. No worries! The playa winds will be gently nudging all the flowers back to one of the hottest parties all week. So join the masses in a riot of colors and dance to the best cover songs on the planet!
All of these WILL be edited over the next few days 'cause there are additions to be made - like the live bands that will be playing - but I just wanted to make sure we had something in place. Damn, that thing is filling up fast!
