BRC Wedding there already one?

Post by Screemer » Sun Nov 29, 2009 8:39 am

One my good friends said there was already a BRC wedding chapel theme camp. Does anyone know if this is true or not? I wouldn't want to steal someones name.

Thanks Screemer

Yes...and there have been several wedding chapels on the playa also throughout the years, as well as other wedding chapels with different names.

Empress Rosa's wedding chapel is a theme camp located in Terminal City.
We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.

Weddings on the Playa

Post by Empress Rosa » Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:18 pm

Screemer....go for it on the wedding Chapel. I put up several versions
of my Rose Palace for the last six years and am retiring from the wedding
business at BRC. Two Lanterns is another wedding theme camp as well.
I am selling my 16x18x 7x11 canvas tent if you are interested in a
great structure that is playa wind/dust proof. I put it up on the playa
in 2007 and it held up during the worst of wind storms. It is a flame
retardant and sun retardant treated canvas. Has 7 foot walls and
a center height of 11feet. The side walls can be moved to any position
to create the door entrance where you want it.

Look for my Tribute to the Toaster out on the playa this year. I am
looking forward to doing a smaller project this time which will be my
eleventh year.
