Come and visit BURNINGDALES (UK theme camp) - An emporium of pleasure... 24/7 bar, lounge and disco. Positioned in the 3 o'clock plaza when facing the man on Athens :)

(last year we were the UNnatural History museum)

bad advice bears [3:00 & G] return, once again, to the playa to dispense FREE bad advice! get tips from our booth, drinks from our bar, and shake your ass in our bear dome to the sounds of our djs and special guests.

our annual thursday bash is almost ready to be announced, but we love impromptu afternoon dance parties, too. so just stop by for benevolent mischief and bad advice!

The DFT is here, per one of our charter members, "The DFT is FUCKING AWESOME" "WE CAN PARTY ANYWHERE" WE CAN PARTY..."" you get the idea.

We'll see you during setup, we start on Friday. We offer margaritas...really, damn fine margaritas, and PBR. Also, rainforest mist tent inside Mister Fish, and dance floor and possible climbing area among the misters. Inflatable water furniture, and a swimming pool stocked with many common fish species - swim in there if you dare! Also couches, henna, dance floor, etc, etc, oh yes, and the penultimate fish bar - you can't miss it.

Come on over, and if you see us screaming at each other during setup, that just means it's going smoothly.

Hey 3 o'clock neighbours

I am part of the Burningdales crew who will be at 3 o'clock and Athens. Last year we had Unnatural History Museum @ 3 o'clock and Portal and previously we had wilder years on the Esplanade with Untied Nations. Perhaps you visited us.

Anyway this is a shout out to find if anyone has any carpet. Yes we have been bringing back a piece of recycled carpet for the last few years and it finally had to head to the trash.

Our tent is a 50 foot free form structure and we are looking for any pieces of carpet that are going to be thrown out and we could recycle. It can be collected from SF or Reno in the week leading up to set up. We are flying back in again from London and this last task is proving a mighty challenge to organise from a distance.

Please pass this message onto anyone that you may know can help.

Tasty Con Sol will be @ 3:00 & Detroit. (Actually, more like 2:45 it sounds like.) We have daily happys hours + DJs + tasty treats from 3pm-7pm. We are also home to the Heart Deco Express, a beautiful double-decker bus done up art deco style. Possibly, we're home to a second art car - The Artful Dodger.

Besides daily happy hours, we'll be doing a night party on Wednesday and all afternoon Saturday.

3:00 is going to rule, I am too damn excited for it to only be Tuesday. I just finished the schedule/lineup for our camp (see below). Can't wait to party with all of you, BDC and Skinny Kitty are two my favorite camps from 2008, and they're our neighbors! HELL YES!...Skinny, are you going back to your 2008 size? The tent you had in 2009 was huge, but the intimate feel of your piano and bar in 2008 was the best.

Everyone is invited to our 8pm Monday night Welcome Home Party at 3:00 and Florence!!!!!! .

We're starting our setup this Friday, so we'll be well prepared. Awesome agave margaritas, great DJs and sound, and a coral fire tower (next year it will look like coral, this year it just spews gratuitous flames and supports a trapeze).

The Genital Portrait Studio (GPS) will be located at 3:00 and C street this year. Celebrating our 10th year on the playa. In celebration we will be hosting the Shirtcockers Saloon both Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. This is a formal party/bar where gents should don their finest upper attire, Smoking jackets or suit coat, pants are optional and discouraged. Shirt cunters (the ladies) are encouraged to where their finest upper garment and pants definitely optional. We will have some loaner clothing and will have a pants check girl. Hope to see everyone.

Look for Stailness Steel full size Roman chariot and El wire horse out front.
