I've been to 5 Phish shows. 4 in 1997 and 1 in 2010. I guess you can say I like them in small doses.
If Phish Camp is some Phish playing while you drink beer under an EZ-Up I probably won't be dropping in. If it is some kind of interactive exhibit I will definitely check it out if I can find it. You will meet a lot of phans this way.
You're gonna need to be a lot more thick-skinned if you do this. Everyone talks shit at Burning Man, about everything. In most cases they are not taking themselves seriously so why should you? Although, you can work this from another angle. You can get all into character, play Phish loudly, and challenge anyone who says anything about it to a duel.
My only hesitation about this is that about every festival I go to I hear Phish blasting in the parking/camping area. So if you so it, do it right.

I love when people say they don't want to go to Burning Man because they think it is a hippy festival. I have to explain to them, 'Hippies' are the only persecuted group in BRC.
People ask why, and I have to explain, 'It's the hippies who have to sit up all night through the Steam Punkers crying bouts when the intoxicants they took take a darker twist than the rainbow lights they were promised.'.
It breeds contempt.

Despite it having been bumped, I stand by my original statement:

I don't care what the borg says: feather-wearers will NOT be served in Rosie's Bar.
When I ask how many burns, I mean at BRC.
