Not much habanero - I just steep the chilies in the tequila for a little bit. It's stings a little but not for long.

Called the place I'm getting the tonic from.
Since they make it them selves I figured it would take a few days or weeks to brew it, and a since I'm getting 4 liters, I wanted to give them a heads up.
Turns out it will take them like 25 minutes to brew 4 liters.....
What?
Does that sound right?
Is it possible that by "brew them selves" they mean poor out of a container, add some food coloring and repackage?

Decided that before I posted this I should do some research....
And it turns out that it is very likely that they pre-make a bunch of the syrup, then as they need it, they can simply add soda water.
So it is possible that it actually takes them a couple of hours to make a large batches of the syrup, then when they go to mix it it only take a few minutes.
Why don't ya stick your head in that hole and find out? ~piehole

Ooo . . . like a little rubber cobra thrown into the bottle at the last second, so it doesn't affect the taste.

I hope there is a beautiful label that looks like an old-timey snake oil medicine label. A friend of mine likes to design that stuff, and we used to collaborate on it at my old job . . .

Hey, lovelies, did you miss me? I was a bit ...detained for a short while. All sorted and I am once again bound for this big excitement. I'll try to make it to this meet and greet and bring a bottle of my famous swamp water. It's an old recipe from my gran, it's good for what ails you.

You don't "brew" tonic water, it's like any other carbonated beverage. All it would take is your...syrup, for lack of a better/the right word and a carbonating machine. Which you can buy at WalMart to make your own sodas at home.
