The MnG was fun! There wasn't much in the way of edibles by the time I got there; it must have been munched up by all the starving hordes. =P I WAS almost two hours late.

It was super fun to meet those I was lucky enough to catch...and whatever Misa gave me a shot of was hella yummy and made my head feel happy!

I didn't get out to visit even a fraction of how much I wanted to but at least I got to connect a little bit.

The ice cream was amazing. So was the shot of (not sure but I want to say) huckleberry vodka. I brought edibles (spam!) but mistakenly thought there was some kind of grill/bbq/stove - hopefully it went to good use with at least our Barbiebarian hosts, or at least Graidawg got to smuggle some back home

Next year will be better, of course, with either booze or nibbles that are ready-to-serve (or both).

So I picked up the Tonic last night.....
Turns out I was buying Tonic Syrup.....
I have 3 liters of this shit. The bartender told me to go with a 1:3 ratio Syrup:Soda.....
That means I have 9 liters of tonic after it is mixed.....
No wonder they wanted 45 bucks.....

We're gonna need more Gin and Limes

But I honestly don't think I'm going to bring the whole thing. I have an old Carlo Rosie jug 3/4 full with syrup. I think I'm going to cut it back to 1/3 full of syrup, and a mason jar with some. Then when I get there all I have to do is fill the carlo jub with soda. If that runs out, I will have a back up mason jar with just syrup.
And I'll keep a little private stash at home- muah ha ha

It was super good, my liver thanks you for showing up as I was leaving.

I'm sure we just started a club. How did I miss so many of you guys? Because that little green fairy kicked my ass.....(so now I'm a fan). Walking back to my camp from the M&G, I was clotheslined by a guy wire set too close to the street, fell and broke both bones in my arm at the wrist. Thanks to the absinthe, everything was fun - I giggled through the ambulance ride, xray and application of the giant cast that looked like a flipper on a marine mammal.

So BBSue, what brand WAS that? I must acquire more!!!!!

Yeah, but there's the tradition thing... if DP moved the date, hell, we'd all show up there on Thursday anyway. (Plus, there is a back story,,, if people got other commitments as well, it allows Doc to do his thang later that night.) And a lot of eplayans don't get out there until late Weds or Thurs, which is kinda the point.

I missed last years due to other commitments, but it just made me work harder to get there this year.

BTW, I was wondering... how in the HELL did I end up with that bottle of Absinthe back? Damn!!! Almost didn't not dump the bike going home.
