Yes, the fundraising went very well. We are about 2/3 of the way there. We have purchased 225 sheets of 1 1/8 inch thick OSB plywood. That's $4,000.00. Now we have to raise about $3,000.00 more to get it all up there and to get the storage finalized.
We have the Fur Party on May 20 at the Cellspace http://www.cora.org/BRRDParty2011.htm and we're going on Kickstarter

We are coming back to the playa this year with a floor that will withstand anything mother nature can throw at. We are also upgraiding the sound system and lights to create a truly wonderful roller skating experience at Burning Man
We're raising funds for the new rink floor through Kickstarter. Check out the presentation and video at

i think what you should do is bring ice skating to the playa. there is big chunks of this special material that replicates ice that you can ice skate on and i no its pretty cheap. i will do some research if you are intrested.

I am a virgin but my non-virgin friends have been telling me about roller disco.
Are there skates for loan? I don't think luggage allowance will let me bring them from Oz...

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
