Ooligan Alley - Huge Funktion 1, top international DJ's, cocktails, freakin lazers beams, interactive art and lots of fun silly silly people..

With obscure shenanigans and much of the unexpected, the English Ooligans welcome the eccentric with open arms, reflected in our music ranging from electro swing to breaks to pumping prog, with the odd early morning whale song or Tchaikovsky at dawn.

By day come and create your perfect fantasy with Silk Butterfly, Madame Seal, and Tawanda's Fantasy Stand. By night travellers can join us in an exploration of an interactive, UV-reactive graffiti wall, an art installation using laser beams and strobe lights to print ephemeral glow-in-the-dark images on a photoluminescent screen. Further visual over-stimulation to be provided by neon murals, projections and plenty of freaking lazers.

We are an eclectic outfit, with a number of returning burners inspired to give back to Black Rock City, plus some new collaborators and dedicated music makers, united in our desire to bring a tongue-in-cheek and sensually provoking corner of surreal silliness to the desert. Have a penchant for Victorian fancy dress and nipple tassels? Cider on ice washed down with a Function 1 bass? Come and indulge your inner Ooligan with musical delights, visual adventures and our own special brand of mischevious mayhem!

Great call and delightfully condescending, it is indeed year two for the majority of us. But it's my no means our first rodeo..

The megalomania has still some way to play out, should have a number of other pretty epic dj's pootle along..

Pls pop by, and if you have any flavour for our staple psytrance then I think you'll be thrilled we're bringing one of London's dance scenes to the playa..

Yes Simon we are indeed cute, and yes we have an obsession with grandiose and extravagant things, how else would we dream to provide such free beats and booze filled fun to "Simon of the Playa".

if you bring it, they will come...

on a side note....make any furniture out of vinyl....it wipes clean, and can be sterilized of any "genetic material" they may leave after they come, and visit your thumping bass....

good luck, and dont forget that it's good to plan, but be flexible and most importantly, as a host, find time for YOU to have fun amongst all the giving and sharing....It's a monumental task setting up a large scale theme camp, make sure you don't lose sight of the big picture, which is "A Camping Trip In the Desert, with ART."

Earthling just confirmed - safe!

Earthling is the solo project of Dj Celli. Celli was born on the island of Ibiza in 1977. In 1990, when he was 13 years old, he began going to Full Moon parties and clubs on the island, which influenced him greatly, Since the island has always had a healthy music, and party scene. In1992, he began working with an organization in Ibiza called Art Party, and learned the art of party organizing. When the first Psychedelic Trance arrived on the island, Celli fell in love with the music, and he, and a group of friends began organizing their own parties, specializing in Psychedelic trance. These parties were very successful, and helped to kick off the psytrance scene in Ibiza, which is still very popular today. It was at one of these parties that he played his first dj set. In the year 1998, after six years of making parties, and djing on the island, Celli bought his first studio equipment, and began creating his own music, shortly afterwards he formed his solo projectâ€¦ Earthling, releasing his first tracks "Just Say Yes" on T.I.P. records, "Dusty Hoffmans" on Neurobiotic records, and his debut album "Patterns" on Acidance records in 2001, which gave him global recognition, and launched his career as an international Dj and performer. Shortly afterward, with his friends Riktam and Bansi of legendary Psytrance group GMS, he formed a new group called Soundaholix . together, they have produced dozens of hits such as :Psychedelic Circus, Technofari, and The Moon, and will release their debut album "Soundaholix Anonymous" in December 2008. In 2003 He formed another group called Vatos Locos, with Trance pioneer Nick Doof, and Mexican Dj Xavier Fux. They have two albums together. Welcome 2 da Barrio, and Attack and Release. Their first album â€œwelcome 2 da Barrioâ€

I've heard good things about the Ooligan Alley people. There'll definitely be a delegation from deMentha coming along to say hi.

We're at the corner of 3 o'clock & E again this year. Same deal as always: mojitos and music from 12 noon until 6pm, Monday to Friday.
