Hello. I am looking for the people who are bring tesla coils to BM. I was wondering if it is at all possible to get a sustained arc then play music over that arc like a plasma speaker?

tesla coil for use
I will let you use my tesla coil for this project. it plugs into a 110 outlet and is a kit tesla coil that i built. it will need some tweaking before the burn. I am trying to get it fixed but i do not understand what is wrong with it. i Was hoping that someone here would know. When i start it up and flip the switch the secondary coil doesnt arc. I did not build it i bought it and it no longer strikes up an arc. is there some way i can test it. possibly tune the transformer?
please help

Just my $.02 here,,,, I have several violet wands which are notorious for frying the secondary coil due to using too long and over heating. Modern ones have a "self-healing" ceramic coil which still overheats but will still work after it cools.
Heat management is the biggest problem with any Tesla coil. Double check all soldered joints with a continuity tester. The older units I've purchased that did not work mostly had bad solders or a broken wire.
