Go Cart or Golf Cart to become the Creeping Eye
Go Cart or Golf Cart to become the Creeping Eye
Would anyone like to provide the go cart or golf cart for a giant ultra light weight creeping eye. It is a wire frame sheathed in translucent sheer white material with a stuffed optic nerve that drags behind. El wire for night time of course. Unobstructed view out the retinal area in front.
Great ventilation.

Just a Thought...
Why don't you make it out of one of those Grown-up Person's Tricycle? Cheaper, less pollution (noise and fuel) never needs recharging (except the "driver" part) you don't need to register it with the DMV.. Put a little honda generator in the back basket, to generate the electricity. Or convert it to electricity with one of those bicycle conversion kits that draws power from the genny.

side by side bikes
Have seen a cool plan for connecting two bikes and their steering will try this to save on space.

For the eye, I'd look at white shade cloth (check Yellow Pages for custom tarp/awning makers or rigging suppliers). Having a tarp maker fit something to a pre-built frame might be much more painless than screwing around with it on your own.
For the trailing portion... I've used a train of thrift-store golf bag carriers for the tail of a fin-backed-critter land sailer.

Hey!!!......
You've heard of a Merry-Go-Round? I think I'll make a Merry-Go-Straight{tm}. With a row of horses that go up and down, with El-wire legs. Swan Carriages, with El-Wire Wings. A canopy and blinking lights and Caliopy Music. The horses will be 10"-15" wheels, in a welded 24"x24' x8" frame, the wheel's turning will power the up and down motion of the horses. It will be pulled by a 2-stroke mini-cycle tricked out to look like a lead-horse.

I have a 2nd vision!
fiberglas tent poles
4 joined with those little metal connectors will form the circle
the fabric can have a pocket to thread the rod at the bottom all around
the fabric dome can have a circular 24 pocket canvas center stitched in
the fabric can have pockets every 15 degrees for verticle struts
a similar arrangement for the bottom

I think the LA Cacos did this one. The "It's a Small World" year? Or the Satyrs. I remember it though.Last Real Burner wrote:You've heard of a Merry-Go-Round?
