1-way ride: BMan(BRC) - SFBay Area

Post by Toque » Thu Aug 05, 2004 3:26 pm

I am coming from BC (Canada) with a friend and rental
car, down to BMan. He will take the car back to
Vancouver, but I want to hit SF after that. So I am
looking for a 1-way BRC - SF, ideally not in a hurry
to hit SF.

I will have a regular/medium gear load, no major
schedule post-Burn, but also very very limited travel
cash. Would like to be back in SF by Sept. 8 or so
though. Would not mind seeing northern coast of CA on
way back for a day ...

I have all types of CDs for the drive -- I'm lots of
fun in the car -- valid DL (can drive stick), good
attitude, experienced driver/traveller/road tripper,
can pitch in for ga$ and such. I have lots of energy,
a good sense of humour, and I may have AAA Roadside Assistance
(CAA is reciprocal).

I'm currently in Victoria BC, will leave from Vancouver on Aug 11-12 for pre-Burn road trip. Prefer to hook up a ride before the Burn if possible.

... it's just a fucking camping trip!

Hello Jonathan,
We have a cab-and-a-half pickup truck, towing a trailer that'll be going from BRC through SF a day or two after the burn. (I want to help clean up some.) We should have room for you, if you still need a ride. You'd need to be pretty flexible about when you're leaving BRC as we might be pretty spontaneous about it (but prob. no longer than two days after the burn.) We don't need gas money as we run Truck on biodiesel. Some help breaking down camp and loading up the trailer would be nice. Plenty of room on the trailer for your stuff.
Leave a post here, if you're interested.
