I've been looking on the forums and calenders and haven't seen anything going in in the area until the next Burn.
Anyone know of any Burner Events in the area??
Anyone interested in getting something together??
Perhaps we could put something together that would benefit the Katrina folks, or just get together and have some Burner type fun.

whaaashup dude? yeah you can contact my camp, Mauraders (most of whom are from the reno tahoe area) @ campevolve in yahoo groups. They throw some killer parties. Also you can check out pix and stuff on the website. It's something like therepeatoffender, but you can find out after you join the group and talk to them folks.

There are lots of shows up in the Tahoe Reno area that are great throwdowns with intense energy. Sure they may not be electronica events, but very 'festive' if you catch my drift.
I try to get up there for them as much as possible. I will post when something happens i feel is extra burn friendly. For a good time, check out bands like Blue Turtle Seduction and Hot Buttered Rum STring Band.
When The Mermen play Nevada city again, I will inform you guys and let you know when and where. The MErmen are regulars at Burning Man and should make you feel right at home. They always play groovy videos of the playa as a backdrop, too. So yeah next time they come up the hill I will post.
