12/11: LA Burner Community Non-Denominational Christmas-Related Burning Burner Burn (LABCNCRBBB)

A raging bonfire sure would be nice to chase away the cold and gloom of what could be the harshest winter that Los Angeles seen in nearly a year.

Presenting "The Twelve Burning Men of Christmas" a execution of flammable artwork by K'Buster Friendly. Guaranteed to add some color and cheer to your life for at least 15 minutes, the Christmas tree-like sculpture will be set on fire at 8:00 on Sunday night, December 11th.

The night will also feature:
-Non-denominational politically-correct 'Winter Occasion' carols.
-Stonehaven Fireballs courtesy of Burn LA
-Absolutely wicked jingles by world famous DJ 2DantzAreaz

Parking costs $5. While Santas are encouraged to attend, there are no discounts for coming in costume. The beach and parking lot officially close at 10 p.m., though during winter months this is informally extended. There is street parking on PCH and foot access to the beach, but legal parking ends at 10p.m. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on this State Beach.

Bring FIREWOOD, something (or someone) to sit on, smore fixins, and your various LA Burner Community (LABC) related accessories. Those who drum and those who spin fire are invited to bring their gear. Tipping your local flammable art perpetrators is encouraged!

And those not familiar with this series of LA Burner Community Burning Burner Burns should know that they're currently being held at Dockweiller State Beach.

The extended weather forescast is looking good for a Burn at Dockweiller the Sunday after next (that's the 11th), with the low being predicted at 49 degrees and a 0% chance of rain. Of course, that may change.

One change to take note of: Unlike the previous LA Burner Community Burning Burner Burns which were held at the Southern-most fire rings, the LABCNCRBBB will take place at the NORTHERN-MOST set of fire rings available. So, instead of making a left at the bottom of the hill, keeping going and make a left at the next parking lot past the bathrooms.

The 12 Burning Men of Christmas will be on fire by 8 o'clock, so get there early.
