Any San Francisco Burners looking for housing?

We have an open room in our amazing house. Come live with 3 other Burners! Female only, no pets. Here's the text of our Craigslist posting :

THE HOUSE : We live in a large, 3BR/2BA fully detached house, a half mile up the very big hill east from 7th Ave and Lawton in the Inner Sunset. We're near the top of the hill behind UCSF (Mount Sutro), sort of the western edge of Twin Peaks. The highlight is the living room, which features a fireplace and an enormous window with incredible views of the ocean and sunsets, Golden Gate Park, and a bit of the Marin Headlands. On a clear day you can see the Farallon Islands. The house has hardwood floors, W/D, D/W, a very nice lush backyard (great for BBQs!). We're in a secluded, quiet area, but 9th and Irving and all the great things that area has to offer is only a 15 minute walk away (about 1 mile from us).


THE ROOMMATES : Ed, 30,house music DJ/producer, works as a server at the Beach Chalet.
Emily, 30, also a server, is a singer and writer.
Nathan, 28, works for an online record store and is a house/breaks DJ and producer. Emily and Nathan are a couple, together 8 years, and live downstairs.

We have lived here over 2 years. We're a pretty chill household and want to keep it that way. We'd like someone we can hang out with who appreciates our energy, but who also has their own life. Having people over is fine, but not all the time.

We all go to Burning Man (Ed with Green Gorilla Lounge, Emily and Nathan with Opulent Temple). If you like snowboarding, Emily and Nathan have mid week season passes at Kirkwood and drive up a few times a month, with Ed joining in on occasion. We like to go out and party from time to time.

We try to be reasonably clean, not anal. We'd like someone in the same general age range as us, a creative spirit is a plus. No emotional games or negative attitude, its hard enough in this world as it is. We care a great deal about the harmony of our home. Enjoying dance music is probably a good thing, since it's a big part of our lives.


THE ROOM : 14 x 10, large closet, huge window with lots of morning sun. There is a bathroom next to the room which you'll share with Emily and Nathan. Ed has a private bathroom in his room.


PARKING AND TRANSIT: We havea 2 car garage that We use for storage, but street parking is ridiculously easy and there is no street cleaning restrictions! There is a bus, the 36, which runs a half block from our house that can take you to the Forrest Hill station (K,L,M lines) and the Balboa Park BART, 43 & 44 bus line is at the base of our big hill(about 10 min. walk). You can also walk down to the Inner Sunset, where the N Judah and numerous buses are. If you get around by bike, the big steep hill can be a bit of an obstacle and you may have to walk it up part of the way.

RENT AND BILLS : Rent is $675/month, $675 deposit. minor written sublease between you and Emily & Nathan, the primary leasees, after the first three months it will be month to month. Move in date is December 1st, but we could be flexible if necessary. We split DSL (We have a wireless network that we share), PG&E, water, garbage, and local phone service. We don't have cable.

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS : Your room will be adjacent to Ed's, so you should be OK with hearing him work in his studio. He's usually home during the daytime, which is when he'll be the loudest, and if he is home during the night, he turns it down a bit and doesn't work late at night(you really can't hear it). Your room is separated by both rooms' closets, which helps buffer the noise. We also have a DJ setup in the living room, which will be on less frequently. Aside from music, the house is pretty quiet, particularly at night, with not much traffic on the road.

No pets, no indoor tobacco smoking.
