Howdy fellow burners. Sunday October 4th is going to be one hell of a burning weekend. http://www.burningbeach.com is having their 2nd Film Festival at the Rio Theatre from 2-8pm and a post movie party at The Crepe Place across the street. If the festival sells out (which it probably will so get your tickets early) or if the Crepe Place gets too crowded, then come on up to the Red White and Blue Beach. We'll have hugs and food waiting. You may want to spend the extra $10 day use fee and set up camp in the morning, then hop down to catch the festival, then jam back and play with fire.
If all goes according to plan, there is a guest builder of the Man this time (Thor, please contact me, I don't have your email). I can't wait to see how it turns out. Hookadome will likely rise again, Mike should be bringing his sound system and lightshow, Donivan may have the "Flux Capacitor" running (anyone have a 12v motor?), someone might put more glowsticks in the porta-potties, firewood may magically appear, there could be guitars and drums lying about, fire is likely to be spun, the forecast calls for scattered smiles with a 90% chance of joy, spectators will be tickled, there may be pancakes in the morning, old friends will laugh with you, new friends will embrace you, and who knows what art might flourish.

Take Hyw 1 north from Santa Cruz, drive about 5.25 miles till you see the Red White and Blue Arrow or Mailbox on the left side of the road.

* There is a $15 per person (NOT per vehicle) entrance fee.
* Don't show up before 3:00pm. You'll be charged an additional $10 "day

Great Party-Great burners in Santa Cruz!
We attended the first annual 2003 afterburn and it was a blast! This time I may be coming solo and going to have a great time! I will bring a tent this time, too! What else can I bring to help out? I felt so helpless and stupid not having anything. Hookaville was awesome-we had a great time with some of the best folks I have ever met!

Very cool of you to leave those. I mixed too many drinks (3) with meds-not a good combo. Still trying to decompress from that f*cking doctor at BM that messed me up so bad. Anyway, I am totally friggin embarrassed about my behavior that night. Hope to see you tomorrow. I was going to drop out of BM altogether due to embarrassment. Still thinking about it. May go tomorrow, probably not. HELP!

I friggin hate doctors and do not trust any of them anymore. Put me on these drugs that make me want to drink, then I get fucked up to the point of embarrasssment. I just really like you guys, and I hope you understand and let me come to some more of these.
