This is a group effort between

When: April 14-15, 2007
Where: Angeles National Forest near Bandito Campground
Cost: $40.00 - Your hard-earned money will get you dinner and snacks on Saturday and breakfast and snacks on Sunday. In addition we will have kegs of good beer and some home-made PUNCH for your consumption, but please Do !!! feel free to bring any other alcoholic beverages you cannot live without to share with the rest of us.
What: This event will be a party-campout in the Burning Man spirit. But there will be enough space and opportunity to go for a mountainbike ride or just a relaxing walk in the forest by the stream. The place is spacious enough to sit around a fire-pit and socialize with others away from the main action. Please plan on bringing ANY supplies you feel you want to have other than what we are providing for you. This is a campground without any running water, so please prepare accordingly. AND NO: Beer is not a substitute for water.
Campground: The campground is in a beautiful wooded area, with many oak and pine trees. Frank has taken great care of this campground with some help from friends. There are 5 built in fire pits and we'll be bringing at least one additional one. There are many picnic benches and at least 6 bathrooms that we'll have open and supplied. There are three major camping areas that are separated by some small hills and foliage. A small stream flows along the boarder of the campground and the wilderness surrounding it.
How many: We feel the layout of our campground is ideal for around 50 people. There is lots of space outside of the campground for campers if you want to sleep away from the action or if we decide to increase the number of guests to more than 50.
Details/Logistics: There is about a 2 mile hike down into camp. We will do shuttle runs into camp for your gear and if any people are unable to make the hike on their own. We will start the shuttles at 8am Saturday morning and run every hour until noon. Feel free to come in on Friday but you will have to back pack all of your things in yourself. Vehicles are not allowed in camp and have to be parked at the trailhead. Please Carpool. You will need a Forest Adventure Pass to park, or will likely get a ticket. A daily pass is $5, the annual pass is $30 and you can buy a second annual pass for $5. Directions will be given out closer to the event to prevent too much word of mouth.
Contact: If you have questions or need special arrangements please contact us. We will soon be managing a Paypal account for the funds.
